Connect Award Winner 2007 Intelligent Use of Data in a Fundraising Campaign

How EDM Media built a database of 15,000 new donors on a £100,000 budget for Mission Direct, a charity for Christian volunteers working in some of the poorest countries.

History of EDM Group
EDM was established in 1995. Initially EDM targeted its services at international direct-marketing companies and organisations. Gradually EDM developed into a consumer database service provider. We operate the principle "Think global, Act local": We have our own offices in the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK, operated by local specialists. Besides this we work globally with partner organisations, these being very familiar with their relevant markets.

Membership
EDM is an important player in the world of direct marketing and telemarketing. We support initiatives in the field of knowledge transfer, professionalisation and self-regulation, and we actively contribute to broadening the public support for our work. EDM is a member of DDMA, DMA (UK), DMA (USA), DDV, BDMV, Demeter, WGCC and Infofilter.
